ACC files case against 14 apartments in New York in the name of late Awami League leader Nasim’s son

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has found 14 apartments in the name of Tamal Mansur, son of late Awami League leader and former Health Minister Mohammad Nasim, in New York City, USA. The ACC filed a case against Tamal on Thursday, alleging that he acquired illegal assets.

The agency’s Director General, Akhtar Hossain, gave this information at the ACC’s head office in Segunbagicha in the capital. The ACC says that the market value of the 14 apartments in New York is about Tk 630 million. In addition, the ACC has found information about the acquisition of known undeclared assets worth Tk 339 million and suspicious illegal transactions worth Tk 337 million in three bank accounts against Tamal Mansur.

Tamal Mansur is the eldest son of the late Mohammad Nasim and lives in the United States.
