BFF gets sponsorship for national
After almost 12 years, the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) has secured a sponsor for the national men’s football team. United Commercial Bank Limited (UCB) has been contracted to sponsor the national team for the next five years. A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between BFF and UCB at the bank’s head office in the capital on Sunday (March 16). UCB Chairman Sharif Zahir and BFF President Tabith Awal were present on the occasion.
As the new sponsor, UCB will bear various matches, training camps and other expenses of the national team in these five years. The UCB Chairman said, “This is the right time to support football, the most popular sport in the world and Bangladesh. We have responded quickly to the BFF President’s request to bring back the past glory of football and improve the FIFA and AFC rankings.”

It is worth noting that UCB was previously the sponsor of several BFF tournaments, including women’s football. Currently, Dhaka Bank is the sponsor of the national women’s football team. Recently, “Dor” signed an agreement with BFF as the kit sponsor of the Bangladesh Football Team.
