Desk Report :The remaining money for the Hajj package must be deposited by January 15. Instructions in this regard were issued by the Hajj-1 branch of the Ministry of Religious Affairs on Thursday
Pilgrims registered through the government will have to deposit this money at Sonali Bank and pilgrims registered through the private sector will have to deposit this money in the bank account of the relevant agency.
The instructions issued to pilgrims who have completed their initial registration by depositing three lakh taka for the 2025 Hajj state that according to the Saudi government’s roadmap, all service-related contracts including tents in Mina, Muallem, house or hotel rental, and transportation must be completed by February 14 for both government and private pilgrims.
For this reason, the Ministry of Religious Affairs has requested pilgrims to deposit the remaining money for the package by the specified date in the interest of smooth Hajj management.
According to the Hajj portal, 4,778 people have registered through the government and 70,013 people have registered through the private sector as of 6 pm on Thursday. The government has extended the registration period for Hajj pilgrims until December 26.
