Information: “I want to leave Iran as soon as possible: Resident of Tehran”
“I hear the sound of explosions across the city day and night. As the night deepens, the explosions grow more intense. Right now, I’m too afraid to leave my apartment.”
These are the words of Tike, a high school student in Tehran, speaking to the BBC.
Tike says that like many others in Iran, she keeps in constant contact with her family and friends, trying to find out if they are safe.
“Everyone is saying the same thing — they can’t sleep,” Tike says.
Amid continuous Israeli attacks, Tike is trying to focus on her college entrance exams. She has been preparing for them for years, but now it feels like a distant dream.
She says, “I really want to leave Iran as soon as possible. But I don’t have enough money.”
