Jagannath University issues show cause notice to three Chhatra Dal leaders
The central parliament of the organization has issued a show cause notice to the three joint conveners of Jagannath University branch of Chhatra Dal for violating discipline. The notice was issued by Chhatra Dal central president Rakibul Islam and general secretary Nasir Uddin.
This information was given in a press release signed by Chhatra Dal central office secretary Md. Jahangir Alam on Thursday. It said that the three joint conveners – Sumon Sardar, Rashed Bin Hakim and Omar Faruk – have been ordered to show cause for violating organizational discipline. They will have to explain why permanent organizational disciplinary action will not be taken against them within the next 48 hours. On March 22, the second joint convener of Jagannath University branch of Chhatra Dal was accused of beating up bus passengers over the occupation of the Ajmeri Paribahan counter and extortion. Earlier, on February 15, the Central Parliament had issued him a show cause notice based on allegations of breach of organizational discipline.
Jagannath University issues On March 25, Rashed bin Hashim and Omar Farooq were accused of extortion and shoplifting in the TSC area of the university. The organization has taken action against them based on these allegations.
