Masjid-e-Nabawi: Tearful feelings of a German blogger

Masjid-e-Nabawi: Tearful

Popular German travel blogger Ken Abrod was overcome with emotion during his recent visit to the Prophet’s Mosque in Medina, Saudi Arabia. He was overwhelmed by the spiritual atmosphere of the mosque and its deep significance in Islam. In his latest blog, titled ‘Inside Medina, Saudi Arabia, the second holiest city in Islam’, Ken shared his feelings with viewers while touring the holy site.

Sitting next to the main entrance of the Prophet’s Mosque, Ken said, “I can’t hold back my tears. I can really feel the power of this place.” He described the sense of peace and connection he felt during his visit.

He added, “I can only imagine what it must be like to come here as a Muslim. It will definitely be even deeper and stronger. It is a very emotional moment for me.”

Ken’s reaction touched the hearts of thousands of viewers and went viral on social media. Many praised his heartfelt and emotional experience.

One follower wrote, “This was a great blog. As a Muslim, it was truly remarkable to see this expression from a non-Muslim. Many Muslims are busy on their phones in such places. But Ken Abroad felt a real spiritual power. He felt its effects even a block away from Masjid-e-Nabawi, which brought me to tears. May Allah guide him to the path of Islam and grant us all this feeling one day.’

Another explained, ‘When you reached Masjid-e-Nabawi, the feeling that touched you is what we call ‘fitrah’ in Arabic. It is an unprecedented, emotional, tearful feeling.’

Another Muslim and Saudi citizen commented, ‘Your efforts to hold back your tears brought tears to my eyes too. Some feelings are really powerful.’
