Noor alleges that the names of the kidnappers are on the list of July martyrs
The names of those who died while looting have been included in the list of July martyrs, said Nurul Haque Nur, president of the People’s Rights Council. He said, “Those who died while looting and those who were not in the July movement-struggle have been brought to the list.”
Nurul Haque Nur made this comment at a discussion titled ‘From Quota Reform Movement to State Reform Movement-(2018-24)’ at the Dhaka Reporters Unity in the capital on Tuesday afternoon. The program organized by the People’s Rights Council began at 11 am and ended at 2 pm.
Regarding the list of injured and martyrs of the July uprising, Nur said, “Those who died while looting and those who were not in the July movement-struggle have been brought to the list. How did this mistake happen? Those who made this list have insulted and disrespected the July martyrs. Those involved in this fraud must be brought under the law and tried.

Demanding the restructuring of the Advisory Council and the announcement of the July Charter, Nur said, “It is not possible to hold national elections with the fitness that I see in the Advisory Council. In the future, dictators can create sabotage and instability. Therefore, the Advisory Council should be restructured and the July Charter should be announced immediately.” Nurul Haque Nur said, “This kind of July Charter cannot be discussed by considering one party. This July mass uprising was not carried out by the leaders of any political settlement, but rather this mass uprising was led by the youth to change the old trend. The youth must definitely be given priority in building the future Bangladesh. We stay away from statements that create division and division. That does not mean that we will accept everything silently. The consensus commission should take the opinions of journalists, teachers and every professional organization. He also demanded that the discussion that takes place should be held on a public basis and a referendum should be organized.
He said that there are more than 34 parties in the Consensus Commission, which have no political organizational existence, no activities in the field. According to them, the Consensus Commission cannot take decisions on national unity and the July Charter.
