A young man named Md. Palash Mia (28) died after being electrocuted in Chunarughat upazila of Habiganj. The accident occurred in Lalchan village of the upazila on Sunday morning. Palash is the son of Abdul Khalek of that village. According to local sources, Palash was delivering water with a motor in the morning. At that time, he suddenly came in contact with an exposed electric wire and was electrocuted.
